The Five

I have seen a lot lately in "5s" other than a TV show. For instance, a newsletter from Joshua Carter  posted "5 Stupid Things That Healthy People Do".  The first one to catch my attention was healthy people are dehydrated.  Water is still the cheapest, quickest drink around and helps with everything from fatigue to clouded thinking. Remember the rule of thumb is half the number of pounds one weighs in ounces is needed in water.  If you weight 100 pounds, you need 50 ounces of water. Another was "Five Things Successful People Do".  This one you'll love.  Successful people start the day with a workout. They get it out of the way before getting too busy and distracted for exercise.  Do you want more success in life?  There's one answer. Dr. Weil posted "Foods For A Healthy Weight".  The fifth was the avocado.  Among other things, the avocado has heart healthy fats and makes one feel full. Don't go overboard.  Easy on the guacamole. It has lots of calories.  The last was also from Dr. Weil, "5 Warning Signs of Alzheimer's".  This is hard, but one of the five is having difficulty with the familiar.  Of course, one of the best things for brain health is exercise and that's the truth!
