#20. Help!

Sometimes a little help is needed to help us figure out a plan.
If so, seek the guidance of a nutritionist. You can search for one on-line. Just so you know, the initials CSSD after a name means he/she is Board Certified as a Specialist in Sports Dietetics.

My comments: I agree. Sometimes a little help can make all the difference. You might also find a free on-line journaling site such as MyFitnesPal.com. It allows you on a daily basis to log in your food and beverage. At the end of day when you "submit", it breaks down all of the food you had into protein, carbs, fat, sodium, cholesterol, and sugar. It will show you in red if you went over in any of the above catagories and you can "fix" it the next day. After you are comfortable with the journal, it takes minutes a day. Yes, I know I have blogged about this previously. It is a very benenficial resource. You can also send it to your fitness instructor for a pat on the back or "what were you thinking". My thanks to Cynthia Sass for her valuable information and to my friend, Mary, for sharing it with me.
Happy New Year!
