35

The government's food plate recommends five different foods at mealtime.  Many people tend to be repetitive in food choices eating the same foods many times in a week. Nancy Clark in her Sports Nutrition Guidebook suggests that instead of reaching for the same 10-15 foods each week, aim for 35 different foods.  Thirty-five offers a wider variety of vitamins, minerals, and other needed nutrients. Make a list. Are you getting 35?
