Just A Reminder

Len Kzavitz, PhD, and Afton Cazares reported in IDEA Fitness Journal 2012 Women's Health and Research Review on several topics of health concerns for women. Breast cancer is a major health concern for women.  Some women are more fearful of cancer than anything else and yet the AHA reports that more women die from cardiovascular disease than the next four causes of death including cancer combined. Keep in mind that several studies confirm that healthy eating and consistent physical activity play a meaningful role for the prevention of breast cancer. Consistency is a word to remember  The authors recommended that we engage in 3-5 hours of moderate intensity exercise each week. While a large majority of women are still sedentary, there are things we can do and exercise and healthy eating are just two. As I have said before, there are no guarantees but the efforts will always reward us in many ways.
