One of my most frequently asked questions is what can I do about the fat hanging from my arms?
Guy Andrews addresses this issue on his webinar Cheap Tricks (for trainers). Some people refer to this as Bat Wings, others jello arms and some grandma arms. Whatever you name it, the reference is made to a combination of fat and lose skin hanging from the arm. Triceps training is not going to get rid of bat wings. Triceps training will strengthen the muscles under the fat, but it will not eliminate fat. Guy tells us there are a couple of things to keep in mind. #1. Keep yourself as fit and tone as you possibly can at a healthy consistent weight. Middle age weight gain is not inevitable as some think. #2. He also says that if it really bothers you, consider surgery. Snip snip, stitch stitch. It wouldn't be my choice, but it's an option.
