Today as I was waiting in line at the local coffee shop I checked out the pastries and desserts. Yummy! I noticed next to the price was printed the calories in each. The three that looked the most delicious were Iced Lemon Pound Cake, Double Chocolate Brownie, and Chocolate Chunk Cookie. Which one of the three do you think has the most calories? If you voted the Double Chocolate Brownie you would be wrong. The answer is the Iced Lemon Pound Cake with 500 calories.
I would have voted for the chocolate. Looks can be deceiving! Some of you will be eating out on Valentine's Day. Enjoy and remember most restaurants print their nutritional information on-line. You can check it out before eating out and make wise choices.
