Tip #5

Today I post tip #5 for surviving the holidays gracefully, but in reality it does more than offer survival. The last tip is what makes the holiday and renews the spirit of Christmas! Remember to give. It could be money, food, clothes, new or used, or time. A conversation with a lonely person is a true gift. A coat that has been hanging in your closet is a great donation to a charity. You and I don’t really need a lot (most likely nothing) and have resources to share. We have a home, food, warmth and people who care about us. For whatever reason, someone may be homeless or hungry or lonely. It still hurts. Remember, too, that the blessing is for the one that gives.
