As I was waiting my turn recently, I picked up a copy of WebMd for a quick look. The last page was dedicated to questions to Chef/Author Rocco DiSpirito. In the last few years he has lost about 46 pounds and lowered his body fat to 10%. He had to rethink his cooking and has since added 20 mile bike rides 5 times a week and resistance training 3 times a week. What I loved was the answer to the question "What three food lessons should every child learn?"
#1. Sugar is bad.
#2. Learn how to cook.
#3. Healthy and delicious are not mutually exclusive.
